These words are important and useful in my job. Making a glossary to explain and define these words is practical for those who starts in the trade.
Addiction
Noun
"The fact or condition of being addicted to a particular substance, thing, or activity."
Example: Richard has a drug addiction. This is what prevents him from advancing in therapy.

Communication technique
Noun
"Communication techniques are defined as the process of conveying, exchanging, or sharing information, message, thoughts, or feelings between two or more people (verbally or nonverbally) to optimize the chances of gaining favorable outcomes."
Example: I don't know which communication technique use for my intervention this morning.

Noun
"Community resource means a source of information, service or expertise that is available within the community, including respite care services, health and mental health services and other social services."
Example: I will refer Lucie in this community ressource.
